I must say that the Atlantic City outlets are no joke, the shopping was ridiculous and I was worn out (rarely happens)  Although I really didnt buy much for me I was excited to have a bag full of goodies for each one of my children and my husband was happy with the additions to his shoe collection.

I'll be better prepared next time we go, Im thinking like 3 times a year for shopping trips is good. right???? lol

MAMA'S WEEKEND GETAWAY....Day 1

As a surprise for Valentine's Day, my husband planned a weekend getaway.  However he had to tell me about the surprise because of course I had to pack for it.  He knows I would go insane if I had been taken somewhere and hadn't planned my outfits out ahead of time with coordinating shoes and accessories.  Obsessive I know but true.lol   For a 3 day 2/night stay I packed 6 outfits, 5 pairs of shoes/boots, 3 coats and a box of accessories.  My husband thought I was crazy but I wore them all except one dress...

I was away for the weekend with my husband, so upon our return we wanted to take little Maya J out and enjoy the decent weather.  We went with a casual comfy Nike outfit ...love the color combo

Okay brace yourselves....I started off all  fashionable but this Mama has some serious issues in her life too.

Let's just say my 10 year old is eating up the fact that thanks to Mama being chosen for the Haddad Mommy Blogging Team she scored a few outfits for me to review.   Well they had her at PINK....lol    She loved everything that came out of that goodie bag.     Mama however wanted to investigate and check out the quality and since she is so petite (size 7) the fit on her.   Let's just say they fit like a glove...and Mama is happy.

Of course NiNi is delighted to give me another photo shoot before & after school.   My oldest did a tv show and a movie at 10 and now this one is ms. modeling queen/american idol.... oh brother and there are still 2 little ones to Grow. lol

My son is 12 and has found a new found appreciation for his cell phone.  He talks,texts,downloads music and apps,you tubes, bbms, and who know what else he can find on that thing.  

I caught him "chillin" on the upstairs sofa and snapped a few shots....cause he just looking so freaking cute!

TRUE STORY......

Once upon a time not too long ago......I was a hot mama!   Actually I was happy with myself until this past year when I had my 5th child! (YEP...#5).   All of my children were born natural...and by that I mean I pushed them babies out w/ the help of an epidural! lol

Haven't been feeling so hot this year, but this weekend Im going on a romantic getaway with my husband.  We've never been away overnight without the children, so let's just say we are a little excited (WOOHOO)

Weeks ago I started some shopping for my new figure and Im actually happy with what I've got.   I already posted about my shoe addiction and new purchases for my shoe collection. lol       I wanted to clue you into a site that Im loving right now called Kensie  http://www.kensie.com/.   The clothes are fresh and hip, but for me it's about the fit.   I'm happy to say that this mama of 5 can rock these dresses and still feel chic and comfortable!
