STYLISH SISTERS

I took these photos the other day on our way to visit my mother...my girls are so good at waiting on the porch for me while I lock up.  

Okay....so I took advantage of this by pulling out my camera a making it a mini photo shoot but I couldn't resist...they looked so cute.  Their hair looks amazing right after the bath and their leave in conditioner.

I knew that by the time I got to my mother's the hair accessories would be somewhere in the truck and who knows what food/drink spots would be where. LOl

So here they are my little stylish sisters..

MIXED CHICKS ROCK!!!!

I did a review of a hair product line called Mixed Chicks on my Lucky 7 Design blog and I thought it would be a great idea to share some of their information on here as well since this is my family fashion blog.  You can see that review HERE.

I used the products on both my daughters KeKe (19mos) and Maya J (4 yrs).  Yes they happen to be mixed chicks (black caribbean,irish,italian,puerto rican) but this product is good for anyone with a curl/frizz dilemma.  Which we had both of..... my girls have 2 different types of hair.

I can't tell you how much I love this product line, it's not a change in the way you would normally care for your hair.  It's Wash, Condition and then a Leave-in Conditioner.......the magic is all in the bottles.  No extra time or fuss same routine but with amazing results.

Here is proof from this morning......Maya J took a bath before bed last night and usually wakes up with a mop of frizz and it is a process to fix it without combing out all the curl into frizz.

This morning we used our NEW Kids Tangle - Tamer and this is how we are looking!  We are also wearing our Mixed Chicks rock t-shirt....it is just too cute!

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL????

Samayah's Big Daddy is into football.   My husband actually was a great football player in his day, but now spends his off time coaching a local high school team.

Next year I think we are going to sign her up for flag football.   I see no reason why she can't play football just because she's a girl!   She does look cute in this little outfit, we had a little get together to celebrate the beginning of the NFL season.

STARS & STRIPES....9/11 TRIBUTE

The 10yr anniversary of 9/11 has come and although my beautiful daughter Samayah was not even imagined at that time.   As a matter of fact, her 10 yr old sister Adelina was only 8 months old.    Today we wore our Stars & Stripes to pay tribute to all of those you lost their lives, and to all of those who tried to save lives that day and the days after.

We will never forget!

Also a salute to our U.S. Military for their undying commitment to protect and serve their country.   We are especially happy Samayah's daddy, my husband Cpl. Joseph served his country overseas and is now home!

SAMAYAH'S SHOOT FOR CROWN OF BOWS

For those of your with little girls, you know the ones that are into tea parties, princess costumes also love bows.  Well this Mama is lucky enough to have met a blogging friend all the way in Utah who is the Queen of Bows.  Her name is Suze and she has a shop called Crown of Bows.

She booked my daughter to model her new fall Halloween bow.   Samayah had a blast and told everyone she was pretending it was Halloween so she can model for the Princess Bow maker far away.  Suze is like her fairy godmother...lol    4 year old kids are so cute when they relate things in their own way.

WHAT SHE WORE WEDNESDAY

It was a beautiful sunny morning here in New Jersey FINALLY!   Maya J was thrilled to see the sun and wanted to go on the porch to watch the birds while waiting for her bus.

This morning is was sunny and bright, so it was fairly easy to get Maya J up and ready for school.    I took advantage of her good mood to snap some photos of her in her new Nike hoodie.   Love the color, it definately put us in the mood for Spring...until we stepped outside to the bus (Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr)  It's still feeling like old man winter here in New Jersey.
