I took these photos the other day on our way to visit my mother...my girls are so good at waiting on the porch for me while I lock up.  

Okay....so I took advantage of this by pulling out my camera a making it a mini photo shoot but I couldn't resist...they looked so cute.  Their hair looks amazing right after the bath and their leave in conditioner.

I knew that by the time I got to my mother's the hair accessories would be somewhere in the truck and who knows what food/drink spots would be where. LOl

STARS & STRIPES....9/11 TRIBUTE

The 10yr anniversary of 9/11 has come and although my beautiful daughter Samayah was not even imagined at that time.   As a matter of fact, her 10 yr old sister Adelina was only 8 months old.    Today we wore our Stars & Stripes to pay tribute to all of those you lost their lives, and to all of those who tried to save lives that day and the days after.

We will never forget!

Also a salute to our U.S. Military for their undying commitment to protect and serve their country.   We are especially happy Samayah's daddy, my husband Cpl. Joseph served his country overseas and is now home!

SCHOOL DAYS...SCHOOL DAYS....1st DAY OF SCHOOL!

Today was the 1st day of school here in Central New Jersey...and 4 of my 5 children are in school.   It's tradition that I take their 1st day school photos on the front porch so here they are all smiles for Mama.

I pride myself in putting my children first and making sure they always look their best, even if I'm looking my worst.   Not every piece of clothing has to be new on the 1st day of school or the 1st week for that matter.

Incorporate your new school year pieces with your old pieces so you get more outfits and you don't wear out all your new stuff the first week of school.

IT'S SUMMER SUMMER TIME!

Took some time but finally got these pics together, this was the 1st day of Summer and the last day of School!   Hence, the big smiles on their faces.    They were sportin their Nike & Levi's gear today and I couldnt pass up a mini photo shoot while waitin for the bus.

They are really way to excited about the last day of school. lol

MORE FIRST STEPS IN LEVI'S JEGGINGS.

So my little MeMe turned 1 last Tuesday, we had a party Saturday and she is still afraid to walk again.   She started taking steps at 9-10 months and then all of a sudden NO WAY!

She is not a cooperative model at all, so I took the opportunity while she was in the kitchen with Daddy to take some shots with my phone.  I must also add we had just returned from the doctor where he discovered an ear infection.  That explains the screaming fits at 3 a.m. (amoxicilin please work quickly).

As long as there is something to hold, she's moving.  (the oven is off)

BUGGA'S BDAY SURPRISE PACKAGE

This Saturday we had our daughter's 1st birthday and it was small, intimate with just our closest friends and some family.

The morning of the party, Bugga which since she has turned 1 we have given her a new nickname MeMe because she says it all the time.  lol

This is what came for her and we cant wait to rock all these cool Levi's outfits...it's a little mini wardrobe party.

PRETTY IN PINK.....ISN'T SHE SWEET!

Let's just say my 10 year old is eating up the fact that thanks to Mama being chosen for the Haddad Mommy Blogging Team she scored a few outfits for me to review.   Well they had her at PINK....lol    She loved everything that came out of that goodie bag.     Mama however wanted to investigate and check out the quality and since she is so petite (size 7) the fit on her.   Let's just say they fit like a glove...and Mama is happy.

Of course NiNi is delighted to give me another photo shoot before & after school.   My oldest did a tv show and a movie at 10 and now this one is ms. modeling queen/american idol.... oh brother and there are still 2 little ones to Grow. lol

TEE PARTY

My daughter turned 10 a few weeks ago....now double digits mean Double Trouble.   It means double whole piercing (check), double the shoes (check) it also mean double the phone bill. lol      However she is a good girl and has an awesome sense of style for a 10 year old.   I decided to snap a few pics before school yesterday because she looked so freakin cute in her new Levi's tee.

She has been wanting to wear it so bad and it was a nice sunny snowy day as you can see...so I agreed.  I told her she had to be warm.   So here is what she picked out to make an outfit from that one Levi's tee:

SNOW DAY PHOTOSHOOT

Due to inclement weather ( so tired of hearing that phrase on my voicemail and cell phone) the kiddos had no school today AGAIN.

So I took the opportunity to have mini photo shoot with my little fashionista NeNe (nickname).   She loves to get dressed up for school, or just hanging around the house.    We grabbed her new Levi's camo skinny jeans (courtesy of Haddad Brands) and put together a cute little outfit for her to model outside in the snow.

LEVI'S LAYETTE

When you think of layette who do you think of.......Carter's,TCP, BabyGap or maybe Babies R Us brands.   How about Levi's.  I never knew the extent that Levi's did baby layette until my trip to NYC on Monday.    In the showroom were items from their baby girl and baby boy layette line.

Now in my opinion it was adorable but I wanted to check out and feel the fabrics and how they close (you know those annoying snaps)  GUESS WHAT.....no metal snaps.   (Read below their quality standards)
